'24 MSAA Summer Institute

Join us to learn how school leaders from Barnstable Intermediate, Mary Walsh Elementary (Springfield) and Wildwood Elementary (Amherst) have strategically scaled Project-Based Learning across their schools as a vehicle for equity. This session will include the story of each school's PBL journey, including innovative ways each leadership team has addressed key school levers including vision, culture, infrastructure and capacity building. Leaders will share project examples and student work and address their unique approaches to creating conditions in their schools so that teachers have the support and resources needed to design and implement PBL. The experience and benefits of being part of the Massachusetts School Leader Network, a dynamic group of school leadership teams from across the state all focused on PBL, will also be shared.
