We are challenged with the difficult task of preparing students for future jobs that have not yet been invented.  Creativity and innovation are powerful, with initiatives such as the Maker Movement, design challenges, and integrating problem solving and critical thinking into the daily learning of students.  Infusing these practices into our learning has created an environment for productive discourse, collaborative problem solving, and higher level thinking.  I will share how my school built a MakerStudio and purchased technology, such as Bee-Bots, Spheros, and Breakout EDU for students to explore and engage in learning experiences.  I will also share how I have transformed some of the structures and initiatives at my school to model a culture of innovation and inspiration for our staff and students.  Integrating things such as Monday Morning Video Announcements and a Staff Podcast Club enhanced high-quality instructional practices that engage and excite students.
