'24 MSAA Summer Institute

In this lively and collaborative workshop, principals will learn how to reflect on the current state of their school's culture, gather feedback, and put concrete, data-driven ideas in place to improve the culture and climate of their school.

A potential program description is below:

Does your school have a clear direction? Are staff/students aware of, aligned with and
actively embracing your school's Mission, Vision and Values? Do parents/caregivers know where you're heading and supporting you to get there? If the answer is no, it's time to examine your culture, define aspirations, involve stakeholders, design and deliver the inclusive climate and culture your school community desires! Reduce teacher burnout, increase morale, and ensure high engagement amongst staff, students and families/caregivers. In this collaborative workshop, you'll learn how to take stock of your school, focus on feedback, and get it moving in a positive direction.
