This presentation is for building leaders, Athletic Directors, and educators who want to give their student athletes, primarily team captains, the training and support they need to be successful. Too often, captains are selected based on arbitrary measures including popularity, athleticism (best player), parental pressure, and other factors that do not necessarily equip these student athletes with the tools they need to succeed. Whether we get the sections right or not...they all need our support. 'Captain's Practice' is designed for those who have been tasked with the awesome responsibility of leading their peers, in and out of the classroom, on the field, court, rink, etc. Students with leadership potential (future captains) will also benefit from participating in this interactive leadership training. Join us to learn about the program and how you can bring Captain's Practice to your school!
